Hello, my name is emma.

And I am a hopeless romantic. I’m always chasing the rain, spills of light and windy days. I live for dark forests, exploring mountains and wintery nights in front of the fire with a glass of red wine.

I studied a Bachelor of Photography at the Queensland College of Art and graduated with First Class Honours. I am addicted to the darkroom and Lightroom and I am always going on about light.

In the whirlwind of life I love to capture what seen and find the unseen. I embrace a documentary and candid style with a whimsical, romantic and emotive edge. I look for honest and raw moments of beautiful intimacy.

Now that I am a mother to my beautiful daughter, Alice, I have deep appreciation for family shoots and the precious and fleeting nature of childhood.

I love weddings for the grand gestures and small details that reflect and embody each individual couple. I wish I could get married 100 times over but I can't so instead I will live vicariously through you.
